Malaysia’s trade exchange with Saudi Arabia increased by 20% during the period from January to June compared to the same period of last year, according to The Borneo Post website.
Malaysia’s trade with Saudi Arabia for the period totalled US$2.01 billion, said Malaysian Consul General to Saudi Arabia Mohd Khalid Abbasi Abdul Razak.
Meanwhile, bilateral trade between Malaysia and the Kingdom had increased by more than threefold at the end of last year to US$3.07 billion from US$955.1 million in 2000.
